Meet in public campus places
Use places like Grainger, ISR, IKE, the Union, ARC, the Quad, office hours, or public campus events.
Keep messages about the plan
Confirm the time, place, and what to expect. Do not pressure people for phone numbers, social handles, dorms, apartments, or private addresses.
Avoid private first meetups
Do not use Frienddd for first plans in dorm rooms, apartments, car rides, or isolated late-night spots.
Report anything that feels off
Use report controls if something feels wrong. You can always leave a conversation or meetup.
